Summary
Love is a wonderful thing, just not when it’s your only daughter.
Review
The trials and tribulations of finding out that your only daughter is going to get married. Could you have thought of a better person than Steve Martin to play the father of the bride? Nope. Martin and Diane Keaton are the parents of the 22 year old daughter who meets a man in Italy and falls in love. Martin is floored when he finds out she is getting married, but that is not half as bad as finding out that he needs to throw a wedding for 400 people at $250 per head. Martin Short as the crazy, misunderstood wedding coordinator adds a touch of frustrating humor that every man can understand. Let’s face it guys: This is their day and we just need to stay out of the way.
