CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow leads a raucous adventure in an attempt to rescue his beloved boat and the governor’s daughter from cursed pirates.
Review
It’s Johnny Depp at his best. It’s Keira Knightley at her hottest. It’s swashbuckling pirates, excited monkeys and ghost stories with a pursuit of treasure and love all rolled into one. Even women can swoon over Orlando Bloom. For all of these reasons and more, this film is arguably the most perfect movie of all time. It combines action with humor, intrigue with pure fun. Follow the actions of Depp and Bloom as they track down the Black Pearl and make for one of the more entertaining duos in recent cinematic memory.
It’s impossible to watch Depp’s performance each slurred word, each confounding expression without smiling. The story is unique and the fast pace makes it easy to watch again and again (trust me, I’ve done it). Multiple lines are actually laugh out loud funny. In other words, yes, the movie is Yarr-riffic!
