Summary
Overcoming all that stand in their way, a man and a woman dedicate their lives to each other and prove, once and for all, that nothing compares to the power of love.
Review
Ladies, grab the tissues. Gentlemen, grab your ladies. Trust us, this movie redefines the genre of “chick flick,” but that can be used to a guy’s advantages. As the ultimate story of true, ever lasting love, this flick is adapted from a Nicholas Sparks novel. The author’s last name proves to be apt, as sparks instantly fly between the two main characters, despite their different backgrounds (an unusual, shocking development, we know). Throughout the years, despite the obstacles that arise (including a war and a serious illness), Allie and Noah never leave one another figuratively.
So, fellas, while your stomach may be turning at the mere thought of turning the pages of this particular notebook, think of the points you’ll earn by snuggling up to your woman and commenting on the love emanating from the screen. Squeeze those tear ducts hard enough, produce a few drops and you’re golden!
