Review
Fans of the 80s television series The Dukes of Hazzard unite. Your heroes, Bo and Luke Duke, are back, bringing a little bit of old-school country to the new millennium. Equipped with raucous barroom mayhem and Uncle Jessies (Willie Nelson) bootleg moonshine, the Dukes of Hazzard delivers high octane energy and excitement. Jessica Simpson does more than an adequate job at portraying the sexy and curvaceous Daisy Duke. Knoxville and Scott are a solid tandem, capable of reminding us all that big screen excitement does not have to include big time brain power. The Dukes of Hazzard is just a simple and fun.
Typical of any Dukes of Hazzard plot, the boys discover themselves entangled in a beef with their nemesis, Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds). Boss Hogg wants to confiscate Hazzard County’s land and use it for his own evil and lucrative purposes. The Duke boys wont allow it and use their unique style of country justice to prevent Hoggs plans from coming to fruition. Replete with Daisy Dukes outgoing method of garnering info from Cooter and Uncle Jessies sage advice, the Duke boys are able to foil Hoggs plans again. The Dukes of Hazzard is a rollicking good time. Join the boys as they take you on a joyride that you will never forget. Yeeeeeeehah!!!!!
