The story of a man who just would not give up. They all said he could not do it, but he proved them all wrong.
Review
How can you not love this movie. Sure it’s a movie about football, but it is so much more than just football it’s almost a chick flick. This is one of those few movies that have a sports theme, but your girlfriend or wife will still love it. Rudy is told by everyone that he will never amount to anything more than a factory worker, but Rudy will not listen to the doubters.
He enrolls in junior college and then reaches the ultimate dream. Besides Sean Astin’s excellent portrayal of Rudy, you’ll love the character “Fortune” played by Charles S. Dutton. Dutton delivers the one line in this movie that everyone has heard before and it still never gets old. Oh, by the way, you’ll be humming that theme music for about a week.
